This 10-day overland expedition connects three of Central Asia’s most legendary regions — the Pamir Highway, the Wakhan Corridor, and the alpine Fann Mountains — ending in the ancient Silk Road city of Samarkand.
Starting from Osh in Kyrgyzstan, the route traverses the high-altitude landscapes of the Pamir Mountains, crossing dramatic passes, crystal lakes, and remote nomadic settlements. The journey then follows the Wakhan Corridor along the Panj River with views across to Afghanistan, passing ancient fortresses, hot springs, and traditional Pamiri villages.
From the Pamirs, the trip transitions into Tajikistan’s cultural and historical heartlands, eventually reaching the Fann Mountains — famous for turquoise lakes and mountain scenery — before crossing into Uzbekistan. The adventure concludes in Samarkand, where Islamic architecture, scientific heritage, and Silk Road history blend together in one of the world’s great cities.
This trip combines adventure, culture, photography, and authentic local encounters — ideal for travelers seeking a rare trans-regional journey that ties Central Asia’s landscapes and civilizations into one continuous story.
